Lone Peak Police Department offers a prescription drop box for safe disposal of unwanted and/or expired medications, vitamins and over the counter medicines for humans and pets.
Proper disposal of medication will help reduce the threat of prescription drug abuse, keeping it out of water supplies and reducing target items for thieves in home invasions.

Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm
Please make sure all items are in container or zip lock bag. Any prescribed Chemotherapy or Fentanyl based prescription needs to be double zip lock bag and marked as Biohazards.

EpiPens and Sharps please see receptions for proper disposal and can only be dropped off Monday-Thursday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

- Medicine from Business or Clinics
Liquids or Over the Counter Lotions are not allowed in Drop Box. Proper disposal at home is to put in Kitty Litter and placed in garbage bag and placed in trash reciprocal.
