K9 / Therapy Dog

Meet Pepper – Our Therapy Dog in Training

The Lone Peak Police Department is proud to introduce Pepper, a female poodle who has recently joined our team as a therapy dog in training.

Pepper is currently working toward her official certification as a therapy dog, which will allow her to assist with community outreach, officer wellness, and victim services. Once certified, Pepper will help provide comfort and emotional support to individuals who have experienced trauma or are in need of a calming presence.

Therapy dogs play an important role in promoting healing and well-being, both within the department and throughout the community. Pepper’s gentle nature and friendly personality make her an ideal companion for those who may be facing difficult circumstances.

If you or someone you know could use a little comfort, contact the Lone Peak Police Department — Pepper is always happy to share a hug! 🐾
